Makes me want to create an app like this except it just.. isn't fucking connected to the internet. Because it shouldn't even need to be??
Except it's $99 PER YEAR to have an app on the Apple Store, and I'm not doing that so sorry iOS users 🤷
#i'm furiously googling whether you can develop an app for iOS and distribute it without the apple store but it seems very unlikely#like technically yes it can be done but you can only load an app onto a phone using xcode and you'd have to have a computer to do it#so it wouldn't be very accessible even if i were to just distribute the app as a downloadable package#also someone said that push notifications wont work without the developer account but i only found 1 person saying that so idk if its true#this is why i will never own an iphone
